Who is a PISC Volunteer?

Well, someone who contributes their skills and experience to our organisation and gives their time for free.

In return, PISC volunteers gain additional work experience, broaden their skills, develop new interests and become more involved in the community.

We have three opportunities:

  • Volunteering at our Polish Saturday School, “Queen Elizabeth II”, in Pan-y-Cae (every Saturday, excluding bank holidays) This is perfect for someone who is looking to develop a career in teaching.

  • Volunteering in the PISC office. (This requires a DBS check and a minimum commitment of one day a week in the office.)

  • Ad-hoc volunteering, supporting activities at other venues and projects such as our Christmas Party, Polish Heritage Day etc. (DBS not needed.)
